14yrs -7yrs = 7yrs
6ft - 5ft = 1ft
8in - 9in = -1in
you cannot express it as a negative term. Therefore convert 1ft to inches and then and the result to -1
1ft = 12in
therefore, 12in - 1in = 11in

Ans = 7yrs and 11in

What exactly did you want to ask? Question is not clear. As it looks, it gives the heights of a person at two different ages. If age is x coordinate, height can be y coordinate. But we don't know the height at x=0 i.e as born. So we don't know the value of intercept c in the equation of the straight line y = mx + c.

By the way, height vs. age does not follow a linear relationship.
