We caught someone outside peeping at us having sex, and my BF shoved a thumb deep in each of his eyes. He was bleeding from both eyes afterwards. What kind of damage might this cause?

It could permenently damage his eyes, but he could be fine. If he went to a doctor immediately, then he may have some blurred vision or need glasses, possibly surgery, but nothing to serious like blindness. If he didn't go to a doctor right away or didn't go at all, then he could possibly become blind or have serious eye problems.

Yes you are responsible for your sons actions until he is legally old enough to be responsible himself. Five is WAY old enough to know that we dont poke other kids in the eye and if it were me he would have gotten a smacked bum and forced to apologise. You have to tell the mother of the baby what happened in case the baby was really injured. Eye injuries have to be treated promptly or the baby could lose sight. Be a parent for gods sake.

I asked this question about 9 years ago. Still getting answers! BTW. The peeper was inside a fenced in back yard peeping in the bedroom window after dark. It doesn't seem to have damaged his vision but he does have a scar next to his left eye where he also got hit.

no, it may hurt the area around your eyes, or if the impact is so extreme, it would not hurt an eye, but two eyes..hehehe :P
