I think the answer is 4. Is that correct

f(x)=2x^2-3x+5
f(1)= 2(1)^2-3(1)+5
f(1)=2(1)-3+5
f(1)=2-3+5
f(1)=-1+5
f(1)=4

sounds right to me!

F(1) means substituting 1 into the expressions whereever there is an x. So, you get:

2*(1)^2 - (3)(1) +5 = 2 - 3 + 5 = 4
