I think it is an emotion that you feel the first time you lay eyes on the one your are meant to be with. That is where the phrase love at first sight came from. Everyone that I know that is in a loving marriage for several years have told me that they knew the second they laid eyes on their partner that they were the one. My grandpa said he knew before he even said one word to my grandma that she was the one he told his brother who was with him at the time he first seen my grandma. He said see that woman I am going to marry her, he didn't even know her name they have been married 61 years and are still very much in love. They even do things that you wouldn't think 81 year old people would be doing LOL Many people though interpret lust for love. They are two different things.

Love is a decision - beyond the emotion one experiences when one first lays eyes on a member of the opposite sex. It is a decision to stand by your partner in good times and bad, and to maintain the relationship through smooth and rough patches.

Love is definatly an emotion. But as for falling in love with somebody, that's bull. You can fall in love with that persons looks or whatever. But to love that person for everything that that person brings with him or her is a very difficult thing to do these days. Because time has to be shared together to know wheather a person can do that.

I think love is a choice. Some people choose to fall in love, some people don't. I personally don't!

If it was a choice, we would be able to turn it on and off with a snap of the fingers, and there would be no such thing as love at first sight.

I agree with the emotion part but some take it to extreme. I have never been with someone I could have left, miss them I would.

No it is a biological genetic mix. Just as soon as you have s3x your infected. The only cure is to mix your chemicals with someone else. Kissing is the pre drug, s3x is the final dose. Don't abuse the drug or you could end up with anyone...
