Is it true that when your 100 pounds you are more likly to have your period? If so, why a 100 lbs, why not 80 or 90?

Well some girls get them when they are under 100 or over 100. If you are underweight for your age then theres a good chance you won't get it because your body can't aford to loose so much blood when you are underweight. Good luck!

Your body needs a certain amount of fat for your period to start and be regular. Usually girls are around 100 to 110 lbs before they start.

I've never heard that, I was 13 when I got my period and I was under 95 lbs.

A sign of being extremely underweight and malnourished is to not get your period any longer. Don't mess with mother nature. Stay a healthy weight.

ive never heard of that but it makes sense because i got mine when i was 98 lbs.
80 is too small but u can probabaly get your period if your 90.

I think it has to do with horomones. A girl needs to be a certain weight in order for the horomones to be activated.

They say that over weight people go throw puberty faster. a six year has already have her period!!!!!!
