you may have a thicker than usual hymen, see a gynecologist, they can remove the hymen for you right in the office. If that is not a problem, then you may want your boyfriend to get checked out, he may not be achieving an adequate erection for penetration.

i have had same problem.
it can be both for ur or his shapes...
but u should be more precise... does u both stop becouse u feel too much pain, or becouse he push but nothing appends?
u should be more precise on the nature of the problem?
but don't be worry, there is always a solution...
maybe changing position, or talking to a doctor.

P.S. i'm pretty sure is "his" problem (more probable), but don't call it like that, becouse it will be solved, and u don't have to show to be too much concerned... (remember that could be too much intimate for him to talk about, but u know him, u know how to handle him and help him with that)

Are you "clenching"? Your muscles may be so tight that he can't get in. That happens to me every once in a while. Just relax and focus on relaxing those muscles. A lubricant (just use K-9; flavored lubes can cause infections) will also help a lot.
