well an electric fence would work. lol seriously though i don't know what you could put up to repel dogs but if you bought a security camera and posted that the grounds are under surveillance 24/7 and violators will be prosecuted . that might deter some people.

There is a spray at your local pet store and I can't think of it at the moment.
Moth balls work well but need to be replaced if it rains.
Make a boarder of moth balls and they will not enter. Also, it works great for cats.
There is also a motion detector lawn sprinkler that is available at Carol Wright catalog. I think the website is Carolwright.com

A sense of humor? : )
1.) I would much rather people used my front yard as a doggie park than my back yard
2.) Instead of being such a jerk about it you COULD be making friends with your neighbors who walk their dogs through your area.
3.) Its not bad for your lawn. Dog poo is actually good for your lawn. Okay, I do realize number one isn't good for it, but unless it's repeated in the same place daily (like the dog owners would have to deal with if they didn't walk their dogs) it will not get bad and it will grow back quickly.
4.) As a dog owner who lived in a zero lot line house without a fenced in yard in suburbia, I can tell you that unless you put out a facility to throw away dog poo, or petition your home owners assoc. to, people will NEVER stop letting their dogs go in your yard. I dunno about you but I would rather walk my dog in navy seal mode than carry around a huge bag of stinky poo three blocks back to my house.

With all well meaning, sprinkle cayenne pepper around that very area, they will find another spot.Dogs return to their spot. This is a way to get them to find another spot..Then again, ask the neighbors to pick up those bundles and take them with them.It will surely stop then.
