It's okay... pretty ho-hum, in my opinion.

I enjoyed the point of view of Roran so much in Eldest, that I'm sort of upset that we're not seeing things from his eyes. I hope that there are some scenes from his view. He's more human than Eragon, at this point... I can identify with him more than I can with Eragon.

I will definitely be getting the book, though. I hope it doesn't turn out as Star Warsy as the last two have been, but we'll see :)

i haven't examine LOTR yet. such as you have been, i'm nevertheless putting it off. i've got examine The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun by Tolkien nevertheless. I consider you that the main magnificent ingredient approximately Tolkien is his command of the English language. He replaced right into a philologist in spite of everything. the ingredient with Tolkien nevertheless - and that i discover that exciting approximately him - is that quite extra desirable than a author, he replaced into an educational. All his fiction paintings is fairly lots this super undertaking approximately language and mythology and supported his educational paintings as nicely as being supported by it. it style of sounds like a reasonably unique difficulty to me. From lots of the criticism i've got examine of him, nevertheless his LOTR paintings is marvelous as a learn of language and mythology, as a paintings of fiction, it wasn't precisely faultless. i've got many times examine that plot and define have been his significant 2 weaknesses. i can not truly choose that, because i haven't examine, even though it relatively is clever with what i be responsive to of him, it relatively is that he replaced into extra of an educational than a fiction author.
