South'n sweeeeet tea, well iced and maybe with a sprig of mint or lemon. Those who know me know. Can't get that at many places around here, only the best ones. (Ryan's, Chick-Fil-A, Arby's) LOL
Now for life's blood. . .coffee. Muddy Waters once said, "I like my coffee like I like my women. . .hot, strong and black." Dont write sentements like that any more. :-( Hotter'n Hell, and blacker than my soul. (some would add, sweeter than love, however I only do that when I am wanting dessert, not coffee. LOL)
My great grandfather set the taste for all his family with his coffee. Sunday mornings he would go out to the well and get fresh water early in the morning, grind freshly roasted beans in a hand grinder, milk the cow and divide the cream and the milk (in the mean time baking fresh hand made biscuits and frying fresh cut country ham and freshly laid chicken eggs). The coffee he would put in a huge. . .did I say huge? I meant HUGE pot on his wood burning stove and start it heating. What survived breakfast would then sit "warming" on that stove until after church and then make it to the dessert stage after lunch when the homemade pies made the rounds. The kids (anyone under 18!) got the first coffee which he mixed especially for them: thick syrupy coffee mixed with half a cup of fresh cream and lots of sugar. Occasionally a second pot would have to be made, but only occasionally. LOL
My own son loves Greek coffee and espresso and is continuing the coffee loving tradtion. My daughters are divided on the matter of drinking coffee at all, however.

Bailey's is good, but does not work in the office. I just settle for what creamer they have on hand. Tea must never have any sort of additive when served either hot or cold.

I like vanilla frappes with whipped cream from this little locally owned coffee shop in my old hometown. A little pricey but definitely worth it!
