One of the best places to go on the net and she has links there and this is information on the real vampyre community and she has articles I think on the mythology too.

There is a really good database there. If you go to vampirerave and you may have to join to access their database all you ever wanted to know about the folkloric or fictional vampire is there.

go to http://www.wikipedia.org/ and type in vampires. They will walk you through every Goth myth and genre out there.
