my friend was being hasstled by some youths(big for their age) about 14/15 years old. they kept pushing her on her way home one evening and she ended up pushing one and caught him on the face. the parents took pics and it went to court, she was let off with a caution.

More than likely but when you belt them make a job of it but don't go and thump him repeatedly so that when you are arrested you will have the satisfaction of making a job of it, you may also be sued for civil damages, this is why these gits are so brave. If the law backed the honest citizen a bit more most of these problems would not occur. I'm not in the hang 'em flog 'em whip 'em brigade but sometimes they have a point

my own personal view is that it is only a matter of time before some people say, "If the law will not protect me I'll do it myself." The anachy will be unbearable so a complete re-think is needed but outside party politics

depends what there injury's are, if they are worse than you, then you are in trouble, i would go down to the police station and tell them, before they get the report it, get your side across, hope it all works out for you, keep safe, all the best, they may not contact the police, the parents might just come round, all the best

Years ago, there was a white guy on a subway train who was attacked by some black alter boys. He killed one with a screw driver and went to prison.

It really depends on the amount of force you use...You can only use the amount of force which is considered "reasonable" and this is an objective test.

More than likely, the law seems to protect the criminals in a lot of cases. You would get done for assault
