I need a site where I can post my book online to be read and commented by other authors.?

There is a site called all poerty like that, but it is for poetry. I need to be able to post up my story and get input on it. Help!

I assume that you have an ebook in pdf,doc ,html or whatever format.

* If your book is of few pages you can paste the whole text on any of the popular forums or your blog.

* If it has a lot more page ( ie its really a book) ,

Either,
you can upload it somewhere (eg esnips.com) and post the link on any popular forum.

Or,
Design a few html pages with navigation facilities ( like content/index page). and link specific topics of your books to it. You can use either yahoo geocities or google pages. Distribute the links in forums.

Or,
Launch your own site with a forum software ( many available for free), where users will be able to comment. You will get a great deal of flexibility.

Definitely try FictionPress.com. It's easy to use and navigate. You can upload your stories for people to read and review, as well as read lots of other aspiring authors' works. There is no length limit, and chapters are all together and easy to find (unlike most blogs or forums). Plus, it doesn't have to be in any particular format- you can just upload the file directly from your word processor (like Microsoft Word or Word Perfect). I've tried writing.com too, and I find that the quality of writing is usually better there, but it's too hard for me to use.

Try blogging.

Yahoo 360 or Google Blogger. Either one of those should allow you to post excerpts for comments by others.
