I went to the control panel under keyboard and it says that it is working properly.

That sounds like a broken keyboard. They do wear out (or get so much "guck" inside them they quit working). Replace the keyboard with a new one. ($10 at Walmart)

Buy a new keyboard. They're like under $10.

It's broken. Control panel can only check the back end electronics it can't check the broken keys.

go to control pannel and click keyboard

make sure your repeat delay and repeat time are slid all the way to the right so your keyboard will be more responsive.

if t hat doesnt work then it's probably a bad keyboard key and time to replace your keyboard.

Pull the button out. Clean away any dust. Push the button back on.
If it still won't work, you might have to buy a new keyboard.

You can try "cleaning" your keyboard.

Buy a can of compressed air and follow the instructions. One or two half second shots should clear out the guck.

press and hold shift untill something pops up< then turn filter keys or stick keys up
