I'm confused by your question a little bit...there are library catalouges online, and if you have access to those libraries (such as at a university) then you can search all their article databases (JSTOR, Muse, WilsonWeb, Etc.). There isn't free public access to those databases though. Universities pay hundreds of thousands of dollars every year for subscriptions.
