Yes, he should be able to attach each printer to a different USB port and be able to use it. If that is going to run him low on USB ports, he might consider getting a small 4 port USB hub, and using it to attach the three printers - then he would only be using one of his ports.

Yes he can. I would recommend he purchasing a parallel port PCI card. It will be more relieble than usb and cheaper that a parallel to USB cable. Provided the 2nd and 3rd printer are parallel also.

Yes he could. A parallel to USB cable runs $13 roughly.

yep, thats no problem to plug 3 in.. although a waste of usb ports / electricity.. so maybe investing in a usb2 hub would be good also, as well as the parallel / usb convertors.
i use 2, one laser for printing docs (as it more economical).. and another for photos.

Yes, it is possible, but all you really need is one printer unless he's into photo stuff. Kinda like when you go in a network's printer directory (there can be MORE than one!!).
Good luck!

Windows XP has issues with all in one printers/scanners. So be careful. I have three printers on my NAS PC for printing on my network so it is possible.
