I think I am a morning person..I usually get up about 4am...way before others wake. Since I work locally and once I get in the car I am working I have about 3 hrs to myself.
When I was a teen and til about my mid 20s I was one of those guys that could stay up all night..but now...9pm is bed time.
I think age and responsibilities changes how a person uses their sleep and wake time.

Used to be night, but since I work at 8 am, I have been getting up at 530 am for the past 5 years. I need time to wake up, sip 1/2 a pot of coffee, so I can get ready to start my day. I MUST be left alone until I have my shower, which is last on the detail list before I leave home.

Because of the nature of my job, I am forced to be a morning person. Do I like it, no! I prefer night much more, but can be a functional part of society at 530 am if I get a good work out in before hand!
As for waking, I always awaken with my alarm clock. My live-in boyfriend sleeps like a rock, so there is no chance he is ever going to wake me up before its time!
Being by myself and being with someone has ite benefits. It kind of all depends on my mood though. If its been a rough day at work, I tend to like a little down time by myself. If something of excitment happens, I love to have someone there to share it with!

Night person here....
And even though that probably sounds like have an exciting night life (I don't) I'm only a night person only 'cause that's the only time I get to spend at home...!
I'm the last to wake up in the morning and I'm greedy about every extra minute I can snuggle in my blanket!
I'm home last too so I'm constantly surrounded by people, which I love...but I don't mind the extra hour alone late at night just so I can get a little alone time!

Morning? Hell no. It doesnt matter how much I sleep, or how good my sleep was, I don't like the mornings. I have a rule, and purely for everyone's safety, that no one talks to me for half an hour. But come 4pm, I'm awake as!! Nothing to do with coffee, or anything, I've just always been more of a night person. My brain actually works at night! Heard it seems common with people that have bipolar etc...

I have always been a night person but with my husband working day shift, I don't stay up as late as I used to so that I can get up with him in the mornings just to see him off to work. I know that he appreciates this. After he leaves I get to work on the house or get on my computer.

i think i am one of the most night persons in the world. on an average day i go to bed at 2am ish. Night seems to be the time when things happen. Is it a coincidence why people have parties at night and not morning??
