I think he may. If he does, he will have run the smartest campaign in history. Avoiding the persecution by the media while building massive public respect with "An Inconvenient Truth" and his latest book, (at the top of the best sellers right now), "The Assault on Reason". Read some excerpts, this is not the same Al Gore we knew. He is smart, sharp and angry. He pulls absolutely no punches in his views of the political situation in America and he is right.

I would love to see it come down to Gore and Ron Paul.
People talk a lot of smack about Gore but his latest book
has a lot of truth in it. Unfortuneately people aren't ready for or
don't care about the truth. At least not until there is no bread
and entertainment. Then they will care a great deal. In the mean time all that matters is whether poor Paris is doing okay in baby prison.

NO.
The fact that Al Gore has "found his voice" and has been so critical of the Iraq War and the Bush administration from day one, not when it became politically advantageous, is because he was no longer beholdened to the Corporate interests that bankroll Presidential campaigns (American Idol Horseraces.)

I would not doubt it. He has not complely ruled it out so he is keeping the door open. One can only speculate what he is looking for. Perhaps he wants to allow the two front runners to mortally damage each other whithout having to join the fray. Perhaps he wants to ride in like the savior after the party starts to slump. Who knows?
Do I think he has already made up his mind to run? No.
Do I think circumstances will dictate? Yes.

He just might, once Obama and Hillary implode. If Gore is the best that the democrats can come up with it will be smooth sailing for Rudy. Twelve straight years with a republican in the White House. No problem!

I don't know why he would run. He could get most of his agenda for the environment done by going on tours, making movies and books about how to save the Environment. As for the other problems of the world. Well without an environment it all seems pretty moot. No environment, no breathing.

At this point, I highly doubt it. Although he would make a great president, he does not want to go through another dog fight of a campaign. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a democrat white house cabinet. He has reinvented himself since 2000 and has proven that he is a leader.

No. I remember reading an article in the Post where he stated he believed, for whatever reason, he doesn't think he would be a good politician. Why? I don't know.

No... Not this time around. He's waiting for his environmental gamble to pay off, a few more years down the road.
