my hp computer came with a graphic called 7500 LE how much of a upgrade u guyz think it is for me to get a GeForce 8500 GT 256MB PCI Express Video Card as far as gaming.. because i jus bought a 22inch moniter and my graphic card bearly supports that.. but the graphics are not good.. i know that 8600 or 8800 are way better.. but how good the 8500 gt will be and how much off a difference will it make in games like Need for Speed carbon and battle field types of game.. dnt really wanna pay a whole lot on a graphic card thinkin abt gettin the 8500 gt jus need your guyz opinion.. thanks

it has the same stats as the 7300 series...BUT supports DX10

it is a good card. would be better with some GDDR3 on it.

Your 7500LE is a proprietary card for Hp that is why there are no retail specs around. But following Nvidia's naming convention, LE connotes "cut down architecture" (less shaders and 64bit memory interface). Some forum threads indicated it has ddr2 v-ram and others indicated it uses Turbocache technology.
I could only speculate that it would not be faster than the 7300GT ddr3. The 8500GT could just be at par w/ 7300GT ddr3 in games but it excels in HD videos w/ its PureVideoHD technology.

Well since your video card can 'bearly' support your 'moniter' you might want to upgrade it.

Whether or not your computer has an AGP or PCI-e slot will determine what you can install in it.

The amount of performance increase will also depend on what your processor is, and how much RAM it has.
