I believe it was somewhere between 8 and 15 years ago that a team playing the Texas Rangers hit 3 grand slams in the game and the Rangers won by a score of I think was 13 to 12. Does anyone remember the game and who the other team was and the exact year that this happened? There were not many 3 grand slams in any game by one team and I believe this was the only game ever lost by the team that hit the slams.

Well, no team has ever hit 3 in a game - the record is two.

However, the Rangers did play in a game on on August 6, 1986, where they combined with the Orioles for a record of 3 grand slams between the two teams - the Orioles hit two, while Toby Harrah had one for the Rangers. The Rangers ended up winning by a final of 13-11:

That's one of only two games in major league history where teams combined for three slams in a game.
