Because a true homosexual could never get elected for President, and Edwards wants to get elected, even though we already told him we don't want him.

By stating the Democratic party is "inclusive and tolerant", you imply the Republican party isn't. You don't want to be tolerant, that's fine (for you), but don't call yourself the "Religious Party" then.
Doesn't Christianity teach "Tolerance"?
Don't you believe in Christ? Or do you just pay the Church the same lip service you pay Freedom and Justice? Are they just words you use to con the people and stay in power? Don't you see how transparent your hypocracy is?
The more I listen to Republicans in Yahoo Answers the more I become convinced its members are truly evil persons with no interest in Freedom, Democracy, Equal Rights for all, *you know, all those things that hippie Jesus used to say, before a good Republican Government nailed Him to a cross with a poor joke printed over His Head.

Ahhh, your slightly mistaken sir, the left is only inclusive and tolerant if the person in question is a "Liberal" other wise the person is fair game to criticize, be it their faith, gender, race or sexuality.
Just Yesterday there was a story on yahoo about a blogger who targets politicians who live a gay lifestyle but support laws against "gay rights". Of course he claims he only targets those people who are hypocrites ignoring the fact he is damaging their lives and they may honestly disagree with aspects of "Gay rights", as is their legal and god given rights as an American too do. Guess who his biggest targets are? Starts with an "R".
The left believes in tolerance, as long as you agree to live as they dictate, otherwise your only worthy of contempt and hatred.
As for Edwards, I could careless if he is gay or not, I still would not vote for him.

You naively assume that Mr. Edwards is a homosexual in the closet. You might want to consider the facts that Mr. Edwards was on the football playing field in college, while your fearless leader Mr. Bush was on the sidelines wearing a cheerleader outfit.
Is Bush gay, on that basis ?
