There are two primary highways that feed bombay..

the Western Express Highway that starts from Kalanagar Bandra in Bombay and Goes on to the north Guj, Rajasthan, Delhi...

This is also called the Ahmedabad Road.

the other one is the eastern express highway that starts from VT and goes to the south and the east.
this highway breaks in to two part at Chembur/ Kurla

one part goes to Pune/ Goa/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad

the other part goes to Nashik/ Nagpur/ Agra/ Calcutta

dont know what eactly u mean by future plans for roads in Bombay... r u trying to find out about internal roada like the Mass trasport system inside bombay or the connectivity with the golden Quad...?
