Since when do The Soprano's eat in crappy diners anyway??
What a dump! Any other time they are at Vesuvio's, then all of a sudden they are in some crappy diner? It looked like a hangout for murderers, with seedy characters left and right... and Tony takes his family there? Maybe that was why the ending was so abrupt, the cameraman got whacked! lol

LOL The Carmera Man Got Whacked! I know the ending sucked! But I'm hearing stories that it was done that way to support the foundation for a Sopranos Movie! So....lets keep our fingers crossed cause if that IT then HBO better get started on a Bonus Season on DVD or something!

Actually - Tony Soprano got whacked! Earlier in this season him and Bobby were at the lake discussing what it would be like to get whacked. The response was "quick, painless and then everything goes black". This would explain the 30 seconds of dead silence before the credits begin and the lack of music during the credits.

From the way they we talking it sounds like they have been to that place before- Carmella telling Tony what they decided on, and best onion rings in the state. Satarelis is hardly five star dinning either. Most of the time is is only Tony and Carmella that goes to Vesuvio's.

I just heard that Tony's dad was killed in that same diner while he was trying to parallel park!

I am an ex jersey resident.
What you call a crappy diner is part of the culture in that state. Not every meal is eaten in a four star restaurant.
You have to understand the culture of the people

That diner happens tp be a very popular diner-by the way known for their onion rings-in NJ.
Just because something deosn't look five star does not mean it has crappy food.
