The Saudis Royal family which is an absolute monarchy is still an oppressive one which is why Al Qaeda was able to take hold there, even though they rule by Islamic law. It is viewed as being corrupted by Western values

if you want found freedom in Islam you should know that the first time that women can be vote person is 1400 year's ago in islam now maybe some country dont follow this statment maybe problem in this country. Do you like know what's freedom look at Iran in Iram human chocie Leader , president , parleman ,and another average 1 election in year this is freedom that you cant found in any country. whitout any appointment in any post.

Do you read the paper, listen to the news, what do you think President Bush is talking about when, He says we are in Iraq attempting to bring Democracy to the middle east.
Probably the first free thing they were able to do in Iraq was to parade freely when Saddam's statue was pulled down.

No, not even with people voting, elections are not real and either candidates have been chosen already or they've passed through very strict filters.
So there's no real election there, no matter how many people vote.
