Both are useful. However, I am always losing my pen, but my tongue stays put. (That doesn't mean that I'm never at a loss for words, though LOL)

both are usefull, but tongue is more so because you can use it to sense things. If you don't have a pen, you can write with a lot of things.... a rock, a stick on dirt, lipstick, food, blood, ect.

Both are useful. I'm surprised anybody would have to ask. Tongue is more useful -- it can taste foods, and aids in digestion.
