Enjoy...............
A cupboard full of King size blankets that smelt good for visitors and are thick, so that whoever stays over, leaves thinking about those blankets. Open fireplaces in the living room, and all the bedrooms. Gum trees outside that scratch the roof when it gets really windy. Big windows and a skylight in the bathroom over the shower. River stones instead of tiles. Edible flowers in the garden. Gas stove. Open beams. Timber floors.
Nice guitars, and knowing good people that like to jam and have bbqs. Girls with long hair who ride motorbikes and climb trees. Guys who are passionate about cooking and politics , and know they bore everybody with politics, so they take the piss out of themselves and just cook. Girls with an opinion and wisdom enough not to push it, just believe it and be sexy because the belief is strong but will still be changed if someone they respect convinces them otherwise. Guys that appreciate silence and love people quietly, but still get goosebumps over a riff. Meeting people who move their feet in bed when they cant get to sleep. Smelling babies. Listening to vacuum cleaners suck up heaps of dirt off what you though was a pretty clean floor. Hearing people whisper to one another in different languages and listening til your stomach turns over like driving down a really steep hill. Wondering if it happens to anyone else.
Going for long drives in good weather with all the windows down and the stereo playing really good music and feeling like you could explode at any time because your so happy. The smell of money, garlic, new clothes, coffee, coconut oil. Learning something practical that you wont forget because youll use it like making furniture. Realizing for the first time that somebody likes you. Sitting next to someone playing the piano with them. Lying in bed, or stretched out on the couch with candles burning, listening to him playing really good guitar because he has forgotten that you are there or does not care. Cheese and tomatoes on toast. Nice tasting tap water. Watching someone trying to keep a straight face when all they want to is laugh, especially newreaders. Crickets and kookaburras at sunset in summer and sitting on the porch amongst it with an ice cold beer. Solving world dilemmas with an old friend. Peanut butter, homemade iced coffee, new albums. Sleeping in bed in nothing but undies and having a cool breeze blowing through the window. Watching someone read. Surround sound. Johnsons baby powder. Jamming on the telephone. Rolling Stones coming on the jukebox when Im playing pool. Having a shower with the door open. Swimming underwater. Riding on the backs of trucks.........Typing x

I hate to say this, but at the moment, I find the internet so much more interesting - I know that is not a good thing, but I can't see it changing any time soon, although I'm doing what I can to improve my reality.

Well...nothing beats reality...but the internet let's you express who you are without a fear of rejection. There are lots of thing I would do or say on the internet that I wouldn't dream of in real life...but there are also things , especially pertaining to emotional things , that can't be done over the internet.

why is the internet not real?
but answering the question , reality for me being out on the bike and being free is real and it beats the internet anyday.nothing like a summers breeze, the thrills when you out on the B roads to make you feel alive.
