We're just having a simple dinner at home. My husband is a veteran of the Grenada War. Then we'll walk outside and see fireworks, have a beer with the neighbor, and then my husband gets choked up and we go back inside and he reminisces. It's OK, because it's "his" day to remember what the US is about.

God bless all veterans and troops.
