More likely trying to cover embarrassment, and instead of being a klutz blamed the other poor soul. Actually I have done that myself to not make me look dumb, not that it is right but nobody likes to be embarrassed in front of a crowd of people. Especially I would imagine a "royal" since they always try to maintain that certain amount of aloofness and dignity, they don't want us to think them "normal' or "common" like it could not have happened to anyone...lol More than likely later after she composed herself and of course in private she offered an apology.

I don't think they are being rude on purpose, but they are kind of erogant. I just think that's the way they were brought up,and trained to be. I do think that Princess Diana was nicer though. It was sad when she died. Oh and to the people who assume that people from the U.K. are rude, not all of them are, and that's just some of the people out of thousands in Britain. My point is, I don't go around telling people that where they're from, the people are rude because I've encountered a few rude people. Foreighners probably think that about us Americans because many people go over there with a bad attitude in the first place. I'm also saying that no one's perfect.

Do not consider all royals as being rude. Anne has always been rude in everything she does. Bad habit ? Sure...when you are a royal princess. Many peoples agree that she's not the best minded person.

Ah, she has the rep of being that way. And since she is a royal, she's allowed to be getting her way (like most the rich and famous). oh well, at the end of the day, they are still like you and i...but we all most likely with grace. lmao

Royals are just people and all people are ruder these days.Anne is known for being very brusque and blunt;she reminds me of someone else I know who is not royal, just rude! The Princess Royal tripped and fell and she just let her feelings out without thinking, sort of like what non-royal folk do.

She probably didn't like the idea of being: Treated like a fragile little flower, and misunderstood the courtesy being shown to her.
This happens daily, not just to royals.

She gets angry and mouths off because she realises she has embarrassed herself by toppling off her shoes. After all she is a horsey person and isn't used to walking!!!!

It was just the shock of publicly falling, in front of so many cameras and people. She just lashed out at the first person she saw. I bet she apologised later.
