Yep... I dont think the avatars are what they (the people) really look like either... they are projections of what we want to look like, our personalties and our like/dislikes.
Very few people look like they want to look like and this is a brilliant chance to change your name and your face.
Everyone looks good on the Internet but I'll be damned if half the people here are as good looking as their avatars...

not what makes them tick. some times i get curious about what they really look like and how old they are.

if it is a Yahoo!Avatar like yours and mine,then I either think that that is how the person really looks like or I just don't pay much attention to them,but they sometimes are really interesting indeed...lol

Yeah it drives me crazy! Avatars dont indicate how old the person is, where they come from etc., I say dont think about it too often its sooo frustrating!
