Just go to the PETA site, they have plenty of celebrities speaking for them. (I'm not a PETA fan.) However, I did read in a recent "Vegetarian Times" (no later than May since that was my last issue as I've neglected to renew it) that Baby Phat had some clothes that were supposedly fake fur but turned out to be dog fur. Either she didn't know (the blurb in the mag didn't say) or somebody just wasn't doing their management job. Eihter way, it is just another reason for me to not wear her stuff. (I never would have to begin with.)

You could try doing a search for "celbrities and fur", "clothing industry and fur" "fashion and fur" and see what you come up with. While I don't wear fur or buy leather (I have a couple of pairs of leather loafers and a leather bomber jacke from my pre-veg days: They're still in good condition and I need the shoes), I would be interested in your results.

Edited to Add:
I agree with the person below me. I didn't even think of Stella McCartney. (His ex-wife is also vegetarian, I think vegan, actually.)

I don't normally follow fashion and designers, as it's not my thing. (Yet, I'm often in this category. Go figure.) I figure it more environmentally and economically and sociologically friendly to buy second hand. Not to mention it's much cheaper.

Pamela Anderson comes to mind, she's one of the more prominent star's moonlighting as a PETA spokesperson. Can't think of any other names, but Christina Ricci, of Sleepy Hollow, recently apologized after outburst following the publication of her posing in fur for a magazine. Gisele Bundchen was also heckled by PETA members at a Victoria Secret show after, i believe, signing to model fur pieces for a company. hope that helps!

FYI, Pamela Anderson has constantly criticize KFC, including when Colonel Saunders (the mascot for KFC) was recommended to appear on a stamp!

There's only one vegetarian fashion designer as far as I know - Stella McCartney, daughter of Paul. She doesn't even use leather in her designs. All the other designers use fur sometimes, and sometimes don't, according to the way the wind blows.

maximum probable they are no longer probable designing the garments yet quite in simple terms having their call attacted to labels to make extra funds. (it relatively is fairly much continuously the case!) they could have some suggestions that somebody interprets right into a layout for them. actual style layout isn't exciting and glamorous and it takes complicated paintings, various laptop and technical layout wisdom. the familiar action picture star does not be waiting to create certainly designs, layout specs, projection sheets, and so directly to be sent to foreign places countries for production. a fashion diploma could do them good in the event that they actually had to layout the garments.
