*laughs* Well seeing how I am bisexual, why yes I would and I have. And no, I wasn't drunk and I wasn't doing it to impress someone else. I actually happen to really like women.
I would have to say however not all people are bisexual, there's plenty of folks who are completely straight and the thought of being with someone of the same sex doesn't do anything for them; and likewise there's plenty of gays and lesbians who for them the thought of being with the opposite sex doesn't do anything for them.
So you're apparently straight female friends aren't so straight, they probably have some bi-curious tendencies.

A gay chap that I used to work with declared that given the right circumstances and environment, he could 'turn' any straight guy! He also claimed to have proved it! I think there are a lot more bisexual people around than we realise, although as a straight female, the thought of a lesbian relationship fills me with disgust and I'm sure I would run a mile! Perhaps some people have more or the opposite sex's hormones in their bodies - I blame it all on the water! LOL :)

Define lesbian tendancies!
I can appreciate the female form and admire other females. I can respect certain females and feel an affinity towards them.
I could not however, engage in any sort of sexual behaviour with another female. They just don't do it for me, and the thought of snogging another female is kind of repulsive.

I think that if every women that has answered your question had the chance to lock lips with Angelina Jolie or Jessica Alba for example they would but sex is a different matter.

This can appear to be true...but isn't.
The female body is a lot more attractive than the male body and heterosexual females can more easily appreciate the female form than the equivalent males.
Not all...but many 'straight' females can kiss each other without being repulsed and even enjoy it...this would be true of very few hetero males.

I'm bi so i can't really answer this question.
I know that my straight friend keeps saying that she doesn't rule out getting with a girl in the futrure and that girls getting it on is hot.

I did have a drunken night with two other girls just for kicks. I really didnt get much out of it, so I doubt I do it again. I consider myself straight.
