Get several ears of fresh corn and dry them. Plant the seeds next spring and tend them all Summer long. Just before harvest time, build a roadside stand from which you can sell your product. Harvest the corn and sell the fresh ears at six ears for 50 cents. Save three ears for the seeds for the following tear and begin again.

Very hard decision to make without funds.
I'm not sure farming is the wisest choice but I say More Power To You for that choice.
Have you considered raising Mums for low investment and good returns?
In any case you have to come up with money to start and this could get you some cash. Hopefully you live somewhere that has 4 seasons. Mums like cooler weather.
I paid about .20 cents per plant for 1000 plants
$200 investment sold the plants on parking lot of friends restaurant @ 2/$5.00 $2500 I had the land I had the time and I was able to turn that 1000 plants into 2000 with cuttings now it's up to $5000 . I didn't figure any labor I did deduct about $500 for pots and fertilizer.
