The whole album called South of I-10 by Sonny Landreth.

Not all that well known but his delivery is irresistably good natured and there is excellent musicianship as well. Hard to describe the music though - its kind of a mixture of bluegrass and jazz and blues, with a Louisiana twist.

P.S. - I liked the suggestion of 'You make me so very happy' by Blood Sweat and Tears, how can anyone be in a bad mood listening to that song. In fact I started singing it to myself as soon as I saw the suggestion.

Its link is posted on my profile page....title track of Hindi movie 'Kal Ho Na Ho'.
This song tells about living for the moment for there might not be a tomorrow & so the moment I hear those magical words, I know life is all about celebrating & being happy whether you are sad or not, every effort should be made to be cheerful :)

I'm looking over a four-leafed clover ... Alexander's Ragtime Band ... Mississipi Mud (Beiderbecke) -- and Stravinsky's Petrouchka (not a song) and Firebird Suite for it's wonderful defiance ... and Moussorgski's Pictures at an Exhibition ... and many more that for me shout at the gods, laugh at misfortune, and celebrate life.

Almost anything by Blood, Sweat & Tears, but especially "You Made Me So Very Happy," even though it may also make me cry a little, since I always think of Steve, who has been gone for about a year and a half now. But he DID make me so very, very happy while we shared our lives for over 20 years.

Think I'll go play it right now.

Anything upbeat and lively! Happy music is just too irresistible and even in my worst moods it can get my toes tapping and a smile working the edges of my face.
