First of all there is no question of Embery rejecting the captaincy as he was in contention for the+ j]Emburey did o+postof Coach and not Captain.

After the presentation by both Fordand Emburey BCCI announced that they have selected Ford as Captain.
Emburey may have thought that considering the number of matches scheduled by India during the one year period, coaching Indian Team will be very taxing and hence rejected to accept coaching of Indian Team..

After Ford's rejection of the offer of being the coach for the Indian Team, i think Emburey must have become cautious.
There is a fear in every one that to be a coach in the sub continent, is a tough job. Besides is he the right choice, is my question.
Above all the period of contract for one year is perhaps acting as a deterrant.

The selection is for coach and it is ford who turned down the offer Because of the way BCCI had handled the whole selection process.
First he had to wait for more than two hours,Stupid questions asked by ex circketers and more over it was an years contract starting from the word go.
There is no time for the coach to understand the team or the players,he lands in Ireland, than to England and than to Australia the year ends.
Only a DESPERATE COACH will accept this offer and answer the stupid quarries of Gavaskar.

Because he is not a Indian, he cannot be the captain of Indian team,If you meant why he rejected to be the coach of Indian team,It was actually a false report by Times Now that he rejected the offer, BCCI never contacted him and no offer was made

That is because Emburey and the BCCI later realized that he doesn't qualify to play for India, i.e., he is not an Indian citizen. The BCCI later asked him to apply for Indian citizenship and then they will take it forward. In fact, Sharad Pawar has already applied for citizenship on Emburey's behalf and since he is a cabinet minister he will fast-track this process. Also, Emburey in a press statement has said that at the age of 54, he would like to play cricket once again and would love to lead India in all three forms of the game.

You stupid, learn first how to ask a question.

First of all he didn't reject the captaincy, he reject the post for coach. and i think it's natural , Indian board said that he don't have any international coaching experience, and he too don't have a good record as coach. now when Graham Ford reject,Emburey become very good coach????I think he did well by rejecting to be the coach of Indian team.

Ok what Ford did was sensible,....cuz he loved his dear Life.

they, both must have had a long telephone conversation
and after considering the perils & Hazards awaits for
any Indian- coach,...
the ultimate conclution must have been.....

Prevention is better than Cure...!
