another language that a word comes from (I'm assuming this question is correctly categorised)

ex: déjà vu, from French, or prima facie, from Latin

Foreign origin refers to anywhere else but where one is. If you are in USA, anywhere else is foreign. Anything that comes from anywhere else is of foreign origin.
