The user is going to input a number which you will assign to a variable called currentValue
For every currentValue that is entered the program will test it to see if it is a minValue or a maxValue. To do this it will use an IF statment .
IF the current value is larger than maxVal then maxValue is reassigned with the current value.
You will do this test with minValue as well.

Well said ckm1956!
Homework is set so that you (the student) can learn for yourself without your teacher holding your hand. If you get other people to do everything for you, you'll learn absolutely nothing. Do you want to earn your qualification or not? If you do, then do your own homework (unless of course you need help on PART of it). If you don't, then stop wasting everyone's time by hanging around in school doing nothing all day.

This sounds suspiciously like a homework assignment.
While people here are glad to help, we won''t do the work for you. This is a VERY simple problem. If you get stuck on PART of it, repost and people will likely help with that PART.

Is it not easier just to count? 10 numbers is a very small amount. I think you can even do this in Microsoft Excel.

You should look at the term "bubble sort".
You don't specify a programming language, but if it is in c or c++ you should take a look on http://www.nextdawn.nl for free tutorials.
