a friend of mine recently had sex over the weekend, and now she has the urge to pee heaps, when she pees,she mentioned that she feels a bit of sensation as well there's evidence of blood, just slightly though..
she's not a virgin and her period is only due end of the month (on the pill), but she hasnt had sex for about 5 months before the weekend...what could be wrong?

It is likely a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Some women end up with UTI's after sex due to the close proximity of fecal bacteria that gets misplaced during the heat of the moment. A good routine to avoid future infections is to jump right up after sex and go to the bathroom to empty your bladder. Your friend will need to go to the doctor to get an antibiotic and sooner rather than later is a good idea because it can get worse and go up to her kidney which isn't a good idea.

This sounds like a UTI (urinary tract infection). Your friend needs to see a doctor. She will probably need antibiotics to clear this up.

A UTI maybe that isn't necessarily because she had sex...just a coincidence. This is the only thing I can think of.

He was either larger than her past "boyfriends" or things got a little rough. If things don't settle down in a couple days she should go see her OB/GYN.

This could be an infection. She needs to have this evaluated by her dr to see what they think is going on.
