You had to ask? I should think that after these five decades since Ike Eisenhower's warning about the military-industrial complex that Americans would realize by now that the U.S. government is actually a wholly owned subsidiary of Corporate America. And it will continue to be until the public bands together to force a change in Washington.

Each party represents the will of the party. If that happens to coincide with the will of the people, so much the better. If not, oh well.
