I have done it quite a few times (my pill is Mycrogynon 30). Normally when i run packs together (like 2 or 3) i'm fine, but this time i have small spots of bleeding leaking through and lower stomach cramps.

Has anyone else who has run packs together had this happen? I'm trying to work out if this is the cause of my bleesing and stomach pains or if there is a possibility i might be pregnant!

Thanks for your help!

I used to do this all the time when I was on the pill.

I would sometimes get some mild breakthrough bleeding. Go ahead and take a pregnancy test just to alleviate your fears but as long as you took the pill at the same time each day and didn't have to double up from missing a dose, I think it is unlikely.

I also had to switch pills from time to time but it was more like after a few years for me. If you continue to get breakthrough bleeding and aren't pregnant, make an appt with your GYN.

I have an IUD so I'm not much help on this but I do know people who have skipped the placebo pills (to prevent their periods, which is why I'm assuming you're doing it). They have said that it doesn't work every time because the pill doesn't thin your uterus lining and your body needs to get rid of it. You should still take a pregnancy test though, IMO.

There is a new pill that goes on the market in July called "Lybrel" that doesn't have a break between (ie - no placebo pills) and is supposed to stop your periods. You may want to look into this! :)

Yes, I take my birth control pills where I'm only taking the hormone pills and not the placebos too.

This bleeding that you are having which is breakthrough bleeding I have also had because my body had a hard time staying on one particular brand of pill on a regular basis. So end up having to change brands every so many months.

I would also recommend getting in touch with your dr to let them know what is going on.

you're pregnant. unquestionably how might all of us understand, did you ask your surgeon? Why did you run them devoid of taking a wreck? I doubt you're pregnant, that does no longer improve your possibilities in any respect except you're no longer consistant with taking your pill daily. The pill is a hormone that as quickly as used wisely completes a cycle then makes your physique prefer to shed the uterine lining, enable IT.

Yes, the same thing happened to me. The first two months I did it I was fine, then I spotted for TWO WHOLE MONTHS. It was disgusting and really annoying. I'm never going to try and skip my period again...it really didn't work.
