I'm not due on for another 10 days and my periods are always regular exactly on the same day and even around the same time. Yet, about a week ago i started to notice tiny, pale pink spots of blood in my pants... what could be the cause of this?
Just for your info: i am on the birth control pill (Mycrogynon 30) but i have been on it for a long time now and have never had any problems before. Also, i am sexually active.

this is something you should be asking your doctor, but i would think if you had any stress in your life, it could be the cause of it. other then that you should really go to the doctors make sure nothing Else is wrong.

According to this month's Seventeen Magazine, spotting between periods while on birth control may not be normal and you may wish to see a doctor. (page 78 in mag.)
That's just one of the many problems with the pill, you never really know if or when your period is going to come or tell if you accidentally got preggers.

I would recommend getting in to see your dr about this. It's possible that you may have an infection. Certain kinds of infections such as with the cervix can cause the kind of spotting you are having.
The dr will help you to try and figure out what is causing this.

Hormone Imbalance.....see a natural nurse practicioner or natural doctor who knows about hormones.
Also, have vaginal / pelvic Ultra sound done to rule out uterine fibroids, or ovarian cysts.
Have a pelvic exam/pap smear done, and also a pregnancy test..........just in case.
