64 is an abstract representation of units. When recording the pure number, no unit specified. But we can use it in a specific manner of with a unit...eg 64 apples, 64 elephants. Implying that each unit is whole, but it is not required.

For example if we $64 dollars, we might actually have 256 quarters.
