i wouldn't be surprised if a big name striker joins... after all, they all wanted to play for the biggest and best club in the world...

Of course they would...man Utd have a history of buying all the best players until Roman Abramovich came along. They are gonna have to cough up big bucks to get one though...at least 25 million i reckon cos there aren't that many great strikers around at the moment.
Edit - lol even Giggs is 007 spelt his name wrong!!!

I'm with Jadedheart on this one. Don't think he is a striker of high class, he is just a poacher, a striker who just taps in the goals but never creates any.

There aren't many good strikers nowadays so don't be surprise if they get one out of the African continent.

I'm sure they would if one was available for the right price. But with the midfielders they have already signed and with Rooney pairing with a now in-form Alan Smith up front and if Saha stays healthy...why bother?
