OK, so every time I talk to a male via my MySpace e-mail, my husband gets really upset acting, as if for no reason, and says things like, "I bet you're chatting to guys online". These guys are just old friends, or if they are ex's, they are either guys I was friends with for a long time also, or I want to rub it in their face that I got married. But the main thing here is, HOW IS HE CHECKING MY E-MAIL? He doesn't know my password, which I constantly change anyway, to discourage spammers. Could he have some sort of "parental control" or "master operator" thing going, where he doesn't need my password to check my accounts? How can I disable this? I don't read HIS e-mails, number one because I don't know how, but number two, because it's his private correspondence, and not my business. Please, no advice on the larger issue here of why is he being a crapsack and snooping around in my e-mail. Someone just tell me how he's doing it, please.

Unless he knows your e-mail password, there is no way that he could get into your account unless you are rewriting your password, and leaving it somewhere. ALSO, if you don't log out, he can get onto your myspace that way! My guess is that he found out that you IMed someone, and he accuses you to find out the answers.
Ex. Talking to Jeff again?
You! Honey... it's nothing serious!
See... something like that is how he could find out whether or not you're talking with other men.
You made your own password, and myspace does not allow a master control.
Did you recently start chatting with someone you don't know? Maybe he created a false account, to start talking with you, and see what you're all about!
He couldn't hack in, it's impossible if you didn't leave some essential clues behind to let him know the access password.
If you're not trying to pick up people on myspace, then you have NO reasons to feel bad at all. I started my account to touch base with people I haven't seen or heard from whether or distance, or scheduling. Everyone that says you should be ashamed, or guilty probably doesn't know that much about what you CAN do in myspace other than cheating, and "picking people up."
I have a boyfriend, and the two of us have accounts. Yes, sometimes we keep in contact with exes, but just like with your scenerio, it's only because of friendships. (Or the occasionally rubbing things in!)
Your husband has no reason to be so jealous, or upset. If he trusts you (which he should if you're his wife, and no one elses) than hopefully, you can help him understand that!

Does he know your e-mail password? HE could be clicking the "forgot my password" link, and checking your e-mail for it, then deleting it. Also, some people advertise for $100 they'll hack into someone's myspace page for you and give you the password. Maybe he did that. Kinda crazy though! Like others said, he could be chatting with you too.
Maybe when he confronts you, you should just say "Yes, I talk to other men on the internet, but it's not a big deal- I love you and you should trust in that" But don't say this unless it's true!!

He is either just telling you he is and is lying or has parental control on. Search for parental control on your internet/computer. You will need the password to turn it off! The only other option is that he had a device put into the computer he way spammers do and gets the password that way. I am not sure what they are called. If you go to Dr. Phil's website it is on there. I watched a show about it around a month ago.
Good luck.

Personally, I believe once your married (I am married) your MySpace should be a WeSpace. In fact, I think there should be one for couples to chat with other couples, friends, etc. Just as you share your lives - why not your MySpace logs. Give your husband your password (without him asking for it) or see if he would like to sit with you one night to post and write as a couple to friends. Even ex's. Including him will show him your are not "hiding" some secrets. It's a "do unto other's" type of situation.

I know exactly how he is doing it - and it has nothing to do with your passwords OR your e-mail OR an imbedded program...it's actually very simple...
BUT you know what? by talking to other men on the internet, you are commiting emotional abuse to your husband...there is no need for you to be talking to strange men on the internet...all you are doing is destroying your marriage...
so instead of telling you how he is figuring out what you are doing, I'm going to tell you to get rid of your myspace page and get marriage counseling.
I've seen far too many families end up in the court I work in, where myspace and chatting was the downfall of everything...please don't be another statistic. ESPECIALLY if you have kids.

I would look into the old check book or follow up the mail bills to check what he is paying with the credit card to find out which spy ware he is using on the computer system. Once you know that, you'll have the knowledge, but you will have to do research on a different computer. You probably have to go to your parents' place, or one of your siblings because your husband had already taken over your house.
Otherwise hire a private detective outside of your house to track down the system that your husband is using.

my mom used to be able to find out passwords to all of my email accounts, myspace and everything. somehow everything can be saved to the hard drive. i dont know how she did it, call a computer company and ask them. i know she also downloaded or bought some program that let her read all of my IM conversations also. i caught her doing it once, it was in some weird program.. not just in stored IM logs or something. but definitely call a computer place or something

well if yall share the same computer its very easy to install a keylogger it tracks all the keystrokes you enter so every screen name every password every single word in the conversation and u cant tell its on the computer(if its a good one)
i installed one on my computer caught my exgirlfriend cheatin on me
or it could be as simple as you forget to log off your account simplely clicking X isnt enough
or maybe hes just bluffin and just pulled something outta the air to see if you'll confess to it without him having any prior knownledge of whether its true or not. man i love that trick

First , do you have something to hid? If not then I feel its okay if he look at it because then he can see for himself that there is no reason for him to get upset. If you say they are friends then you should be open and honest with your husband and if he feel you are hiding something then the jealous and distrust comes in and then it can open up conflicts and major problems in you household. So I say to you be honest and open with him and now you be GOOD.
