This is ridiculous. All these ppl have different answers. Here is a general method. (notice that 2/4 = 1/2)

1/2 + 2/4 - 5/6 = 1/2 +1/2 -5/6
= (3+3 - 5) / 6 (common denominator is 6)
= 1/6

3/2 x 1/3 * 5/10 = 15/60 = 1/4 (Assuming * = x)

1/6 / 1/4

= 1/6 * 4 = 2/3 ///

1/2 + 2/4 - 5/6

First simplify all the fractions:
1/2 + 1/2 - 5/6 (because 2 and 4 have a common factor of 2)
Then simplify your working further by adding the two halves together:
1 - 5/6
= 6/6 - 5/6 (1 = 6/6)
= 1/6 (Numerator: 6 - 5)
Final answer: 1/6

3/2 x 1/3 * 5/10 (i assume that the * is x in this case)

Simplify 5/10 to 1/2 (5 and 10 have a common factor of 5):
3/2 x 1/3 x 1/2
Multiply all the numerators to form one final numerator, and do the same for the denominator:
(3 x 1 x 1)/(2 x 3 x 2)
= 3/12
You can simplify this further to:
= 1/4 (3 and 12 have a common factor of 3)
Final answer: 1/4

1/2 + 2/4 - 5/6
= 6/12 + 6/12 - 10/12
= 12/12 - 10/12
= 2/12
= 1/6

3/2 x 1/3 x 5/10
= 3/6 x 5/10
= 15/60
= 1/4

[1/2 + 2/4 - 5/6]/[3/2 * 1/3 * 5/10]
=[(1/2 + 1/2) - 5/6]/[(3/2 * 1/3) * 1/2]
=[1 - 5/6]/[1/2 * 1/2]
=[1/6]/[1/4]
=4/6

Well, lets see.... 1/2 + 2/4 (1/2 again) - 5/6 = 1/6

3/2 x 1/3 = 3/6 (1/2 again) * 5/10 (1/2 again) = 1/4

1/6 / 1/4 = 2/3

there is two question or one.

first you need to find the lcd.
for the first one
lcd is 12
so will have 6/12+6/12-10/12= 2/12=1/6

second
you need to multiply each fraction

as 3/2*1/3= 3/6=1/3 then multiply 1/3 with 5/10
that will be 1/6
