you actually go outside to the side of your house and watch the meter go round and round??? Yeah I've done that a couple times, yes I was very bored.

Yes, I can relate.
Some years ago I was lonely, and I sat and watched a wall clock for a complete hour. I felt like I had accomplished something, but nothing to brag on. Still, I'm glad I did it.
I don't plan to do that again.
If you're still bored, get a large magnifying glass and study your surroundings in an intensely closer way than you've ever done. You may be surprised.

I get so bored sometimes that I'll walk out the front door around to the back door over and over again...thinkin that I'm gonna find somethin new outside one of those times haha.

I bought a telescope after the first, last, and only time I did that. Now I get a close up look at the stars.

Only when I was about six years old and first discovered it and thought it was cool to watch the train go by lol -then I grew up!! ;-))
