Hello. I posted a Q asking if my freckles were noticeable on a pic as I dislike them. Some guy replied:
"Why do girls all want to look the same and then complain when guys treat them as interchangeable"
I'm not looking for you to tell me that you don't wish to look the same. I want to know if you agree or disagree with his point of view.
Personally I want to look what is stereotypically beautiful because I believe that is what guys are attracted to. And why do I think that? Probably because of the girls on the front of Playboy, FHM, Hustler etc. And who puts them on the cover? The editor of the lad's mag (who 85% of the time is male).
So guys: Do you want us to look this way, and then when we do you complain we're all the same and feel you can treat us as "interchangeable?" Obviously I know all guys aren't like that.
Do you agree with mine or his point of view?

OoOoOo I like yours. It's hard to be an individual, because when you try to stand out, someone tries to stomp your back into place! Rock on, and rock your freckles! Some guys think they're cute.

Let Me explode a myth.
The center fold and cover girls are just as plain looking as any other girl without make-up, lighting, a good airbrushing, computer enhancement and posturing. Magazines have sold the world a proposition that "Perfection" is "Beauty". Fake beauty is not Real beauty. Women want to look like the epitome of femininity, as shown by the "beautiful people" on TV. Men like women to be natural. We like, love and even lust after you for Who You actually are, not what fantasy You represent. We like curves and freckles and those stray bits of hair that brush Your face. We like bare feet, pony-tails, belly buttons, natural nails, and only the barest hint of make-up.
My Friend, Natalie, was a Los Vegas Show Girl. She doesn't wear much make-up now. She does not need too. She is 'nice' enough just as She is. She is all of the above.
We, i.e. Men, are considered by Women's Magazines to be too stupid to know what We like.......yet We don't buy Cosmopolitan, Vogue or Seventeen.....You do. So just Who has been lead up the garden path of stereotypical beauty? Make-up is for Women with flaws that need to be hidden. Max Factor made a career from being able to turn "plain Jane" into Jane Mansfield.
Just be Yourself. It's a whole lot cheaper and better for Your complexion. Who knows, You might actually enjoy the freedom.

if he treats us as interchangeable, its his loss. because before even trying to get to know us, he already has that perspective in that teeny-tiny mind of his.. The girls on the cover of FHM, Hustler, Cosmopolitan, only show the stereotypical beauties shaped and defined by consumer goods based on demands and ideals benefiting capitalism but who knows if its what we really want or need? Nowadays, I am no longer awed by the beautiful well-dressed people I meet on the streets 'cause I know for a fact now that there is more to someone than what meets the eye...

incredibly everyone seems to be distinctive yet as we age we journey extra in life and have a deeper understand-how of the worldwide that we live in. asserting absolute to gay marriage or stem cellular study does not propose you're open minded by making use of any stretch of the mind's eye. you could desire to first understand the difficulty and the ramifications of those judgements. There are categories of stem cellular study and whilst the style that destroys an embryo used to have extra possibilities and controversy now technologies has made that unnnessacery in some approaches. What are the excuses in the back of peoples perspectives on gay marriage. As human beings replace into extra knowledgable they csn take a stand on extra subject concerns (which you will interpret as closed minded) whilst in reality it incredibly is a properly theory out and reasoned place. by no potential provide up discovering and understand that life is a by no potential ending education something college can by no potential tutor you.

I really have no clue why he would say that when all the question required was a yes or no answer. & yes I agree with your point of view. I feel very pressured to look like the playboy models and I notice that men do treat you differently if you gain weight or don't fit that mold.

I don't agree with either. I don't want to look what is stereotypical of beautiful and I don't want to look the same as other girls. I only want to be myself and if a guy doesn't like me for me then later for him.

The person that answered that is probably at a stage in his life where personality doesn't matter.
Hopefully, one day, he'll fall in love and have a daughter. Then he can remember the immature words he wrote to you and feel ashamed.
Or not.

I think every woman has something that makes them more special than anyone else. For you, it might be your freckles.
