I have very straight hair. It's fine (textured) , thin but not reeeally really thin, and I haven't dyed it in ages so it isn't damaged. Do you think it will take a perm?

Are you Asian? Fine hair is a little tougher to perm but depending on what you want done somethings might be possible.

I also have very straight hair and thin. I do dye my hair on a regular basis. i have not gotten a perm in years but when I did it would take real good actually. I just buy pantene deep conditioner and it keeps my hair decently healthy. Good luck

Of course your hair is permable. Go to a professional first, though. After a couple of salon visits, you should be able to touch-up the new growth yourself carefully. Deep condition your hair on a regular basis, trim your ends regularly, and refrain from drying hairproducts with mineral or alcohol in them. Also avoid as much heat and sticky products like gel as much as possible. Avoid hair dyes too. ^_^

yes it will. I have thin, fine hair and perms add body. Just use good hair products, like Paul Mitchell to keep it looking good. Also, go to a reputable stylist, not a cheapie like Fantastic Sams or Super Cuts or they'll fry your hair.

It should take a perm. From your description it sounds like mine and mine will take a curl.
