Have you observed people doing Namaz? Every step is nothing but yoga. If you tell them to do yoga, they will not do. In the name of religion and namaz, what they are doing is nothing but yogaasanas.

I did not know that Yoga is religious. Yoga is a physical discipline. An exercise regimen meant to tone our body both physically and mentally. The exercises are very precise and specific and are used to maintain oneself and also rid of a lot of diseases.
Do you know that the Namaz is done in Vajrasana? It is a yoga position which has a number of benefits. It is an excellent position for the treatment of indigestion, piles, sciatica, lumbar problems, backaches, knee-joint suppleness, flexibility, and moreover it relaxes all the muscles of the back and the legs.
This is just one position there are many which everybody practices irrespective of religion.

Why do you think it would be unislamic???its just exercise and breathing to tone your muscles and to de-stress your mind. Its good for your health and I am sure there are a lot of sensible Pakistanis who practise it.

The first guy is right, first of all Yoga can be spiritual, but it is not religious. But if he does "modern yoga" all he is probably doing is exercises and thats just movement. There is no problem.
