I heard someone tell a girl she had a "big ol' ignorant booty..." Now, is that a compliment or an insult?? It was said in a tone of voice that sounded playful, but do you think they were really insulting her in a not so hurtful kinda way?
Cuz I would take it as an insult... Your thoughts?

lol. thats just slang for you have a really big butt. It is a compliment because guys love a big butt. I don't think it was insulting because guys say that to compliment women on their physical assets. I think its more of a southern thing though.

it means the someone has a poor grasp of the English language. "ignorant" means "does not know."
For instance, you are ignorant of my the name of the cat sleeping next to me. If I tell you the cat's name, you would know the answer cat's name and not be ignorant any more.
Everyone is ignorant of something. Ignorant doesn't mean stupid. However, ignorant people often think it does.

a booty can't be ignorant...unless a person's mind was in it...so it sounds like the person was saying that her mind was in her booty and that she was ignorant..so it was an insult...
