The one with Denzel Washington. Was it a good movie?

I am not sure that this question is appropriate for Yahoo! Answers, unless you wish to specifically poll active members of Yahoo! Answers. It has a 56% rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer which means it was not well received by critics. However, IMDB users (over 20,000) give it a 7.1 rating, which I would interpret as the majority of viewers enjoying the film.

We saw it and thought it was an excellent movie. The acting was good, the story interesting, the plot well placed and awesome action sequences. It is one where you really need to pay attention and watch closely as the plot is tightly interwoven and if you miss a portion you could easily miss well thought out points...more of one to watch on video than in the theatre so you can pause or replay a portion if you need to.
Without spoiling the plot, it does pose the age old question of if you could go back in past to try to save someone and attempt change it, even if you know you could never return to the future, would you? Denzel's charactor decides to try to and up until the last 5 mins of the movie, you don't know whether or not he can/does as there are clues from the beginning of the movie that tend to indicate throughout the movie that tend to indicate he cannot, yet he still tries.

I liked it,but I'm partial 2 any movie with Denzel. Robin Thickes wife plays the leading lady in it

It was an awesome movie...You have to pay close attention... It's one of those movies that doesn't make sense until the very last scene. It kinda reminds me of The Butterfly Effect if you've ever seen that as far as the not making sense thing goes. You should most definately watch it!

It's an awesome movie. One of my favorites. You have to watch it about three times to put it together. The book has a little more clarity but the movie did a great job.

It was pretty good. Entertaining. I don't know if the ending made sense or was satisfying enough, but it was still good. You should see it if you're interested.
