Great question!!! People who do hard labor can and are just as smart as pencil pushers. They just don't get the luxury of being in the A/C or heat all day in a chair behind a computer. I want to say most people who work in offices work for the government or some huge corporation. I could be wrong though. I do know that people who work in schools or doctor's offices don't get paid much better than deck job types. I work at a fast lube and I don't get paid that well, just good enough to survive with mu husband and kids. I work out in the shop with no heat or A/C and run my butt off when we are busy, some days not sitting down much in a 10 hour day. I wouldn't compare myself to construction workers or welders or factory workers. That's some tough work and I wish that those jobs paid those people for the amount of hard work done.

Just depends on the day and my energy level at the moment. I'd probably choose the sitting job rather than physical labor just to play it safe. I'm a bit tired more days than not. I'm usually doing the one I prefer.

I'd rather work indoors sitting at a desk. It's less work and you're getting paid the same! Don't take that to mean I'm lazy though!

I write. Mostly, I do it on a computer. Sometimes, when I am thinking a story out, I doodle and make notes outdoors.
I long for a notebook, where I could work anywhere, but can't fit it into the budget right now.
I'm one of those "starving artists" you may have heard about...

ummmm hard question, I think that people doing physical labor should get paid more, but I'd still rather do that. I'd get to be outside, plus get to work out- get fit, etc...

Nah, I burn outside, and physical labor damages your hands and makes you stinky.
I'll stay indoors for now.
